Great location and endless entertainment for children and adults

The pictures do not over sell the stay, the house was massive and had plenty of room for 16 people. He had great supply of cook ware to be able to cook our own meals and even had some spices which were useful for seasoning. The amenities were amazing, the items for the water were clean and there was many items so we could go on the water with majority at once. The hot tub was amazing and the pingpong/pool tables were great to use. The place was very clean. Overall this was a very nice cottage with great amenities and for the price it was a steal.

We had everything we needed there, and very close to the town next store for grocery runs, etc. No issues or complications, check in through check out was very smooth and easy. I can easily speak for myself and the rest of my party that we had a great weekend. Overall an amazing find, and we’d definitely want to stay again. 10/10 would recommend.

Extra firm beds. We went and bought a foam topper. Lots of kitchen gadgets, very clean hot tub.... read more The hot water is very limited, so plan your usage wisely. Linens were worth the extra charge. Extra large flat double laneway.
The reason for our vacation was to snowmobile. The closest snowmobile trail is 13Km of road riding.
Very close to Mattawa for driving in a vehicle. Mattawa has all your needs if you forget anything.
Highly recommend this place. Excellent hosts. Beautiful cottage.

  Had a fantastic time with me and my friends in Hamza’s home, only 2 complaints I have is that the grill starter doesn’t work (which isn’t a massive issue considering... read more you can just take of the grates and start it with a stick lighter). And the additional charge for bedding, we did get the house at a very cheap price considering the time we went. But if I payed what it would be in the summer, I’d be a little disappointed it didn’t come with bedsheets unless I paid $25 per bed. All in all a fantastic stay, and make sure you check out the bakery in Mattawa.

We LOVED all the water equipment that was provided... read more (kayaks, SUP, kid's kayak, canoe, etc and all the life jackets that were available). The hot tub and fire pit were greatly used. The kitchen was well equipped for everything we could need (minus the Keurig - see below comment).

The only reason I gave 4 stars was because of 3 main reasons: the Keurig machine was not working, the foosball table was broken before our arrival and the geese excrements all over the yard (we couldn't play our outdoor games since it was everywhere (even the front yard!)).

All the kids said that it was the best vacation ever! Would definitely return.

Mattawa is nice and close and a beautiful place to enjoy fall and it had all we needed!

This huge and beautiful home gave us the opportunity to make memories that will last forever with our favorite people. The lovely location offered privacy for us and our guests on our special day, and we couldn't be happier! Everyone enjoyed the scenery, game room, fire pit and comfortable vibes the home had to offer. Hamza was very awesome to communicate with, and was very clear with instructions throughout our stay! There were even helpful instructions posted throughout the house and property that clearly displayed rules and recommendations. My husband and I definitely recommend Hamza as a host, and can say this was one of our most memorable stays! Well worth it!
